What are we 'about'?

Well that is a tad more difficult to explain!

At the present time we (the Whippets and I) are seriously looking for a updated campervan or small motorhome so that in the mid - latter part of the year we can get out there and live on the road for a year or 3 or even a whole lot more!

This has been a dream of mine for some time and I sort of started it when I left Victoria in 2004 but I only got as far as Darwin where I found work offers a plenty and a sick friend who really needed someone to just be around most if not all of the time.

Darwin has been a learning curve for me and has been sort of fun in it's way but I am getting itchy feet now.

Australia being the land of contrasts and extremes that it is I want to see and experiance it all!

And who better to travel with than my two best mates who are always happy to be doing what I am doing and going where I am going, never 'back seat drive', and rarely tell me I am doing it or going wrong!

Who are we?

Well, Whippetsaroundoz consists of Clancy (Gelbregan Crystaldreamer CCD) who is 4.5 years old now, he is a Fawn/Blue Brindle Whippet with a talent for writing about his travels from a Whippets perspective and also has a CCD in Obediance, in 2009 he was joined by Connor.

Connor, or Jenizall Pass The Baton to give him his posh name, is only 7 months old. Connor is a Blue Brindle/White trim Whippet, he is learning about travel writing too and is a very handsome and clever young chap.

I am known as Annie or 'that crazy dog lady', I am 56 and I am brown/grey haired. I am the driver on our travels, mostly because I am the only one with a license and legs long enough to reach the pedals in the campervan.
