Connor got an email from his little sister Alice yesterday, then today he got another email from his other sister Shari, it all made me feel very lonely and sad coz none of my family send me emails at all. Connors family are going to have a party when we go down for our holidays and stay at Auntie Karens place, I hope they let me play too....I wonder where all my brothers and sisters went?

Alice, Shari and Wyatt - Connor's brother and sisters
when they were just little pups.
The new motor home is really ours now! We spent most of the week-end putting things in it and playing around it, nice size for wizzing around I might add, and generally getting to know our new home.
It is really quite surprising as although it is so much bigger than our older campervan it doesn't have quite as much storage space, but it does have a lot of living space for us to do what we do best, lounge about!

Annie let us try out the bed, which was quite comfy thank you, and we liked the dining/lounge area too. There is a door to another little room but Annie is being a bit funny about that and it makes me wonder what she isn't telling us!

our new kennel on wheels has arrived

Connor and I are so excited, these people we don't know came to our house this afternoon in a lovely motor home and spent some time talking to Bob, then Annie came home from work and she did not even come and talk to us and give us cuddles straight away, like she usually does. Instead she stayed downstairs looking at this motor home.....after a while though she came to see us and said ;'well boyz, it's here!' and let us down stairs so we had a bit of a sniff around and all that, but right now the people we don't know are staying in it so it does not really feel like ours just yet.

It does look rather comfy though, I must say!

Annie sez when we have it to ourselves we will put our stuff in it and set things up just the way we want it and that will be exciting and fun too, have to remember exactly where she puts the dog food, what's that Connor? Oh yes, and where she stashes the doggy treats as well.

Queens Birthday Week-end - 2010

I am fascinated, how come The Queen, you know that lady in London who wears funny things on her head and has a poor taste in small dogs, gets to have a Birthday long week-end when the rest of us only get 1 day?
Annie sez we should all get our birthdays off work, I think that we should all get long week-ends myself...
Anyway, we did not get invited to her birthday party again. Still they probably only had cucumber sandwiches and tiny little cakes, not nearly as nice as Connors birthday menu.
We have had an interesting week-end, on Saturday we went to the dog park - always fun and this time was no exception as we met Costa a baby Hungarian Goulash, no Vizla puppy who was just the right size for Connor to play with, then we met a baby Boxer who was a bit scared of us too then decided we were good play value - which of course we are! Then we met Wipit who is a baby Whippet blessed with very unimaginitive peoples - he was very cute, all white but for 1 black ear, he has a mum and dad and 3 children to play with, we found the 3 boys a bit scary as they were very full on and noisy but we loved Wipit and will meet up with him again.
Then it was off to get the dog meat in bulk. After a lovely long afternoon nap we went to Glenti, the Greek Community Festival which was extremely crowded but mmm Greek cake crumbs were very yummy, there were also a lot of interesting other bits that people had dropped, something a bit odd called Calamari and something very delishous that Annie said was bits of Yiros.
Sunday was a much quieter day but we did get another excursion, to put up some For Sale posters in all the Backpacker venues for our old Campervan, we got lots of pats from young ladies who all seemed to have the same tale - they all missed their dogs at home, wherever 'home' was! Why didn't they just bring them along I thought to myself?
Our new House on Wheels is on it's way here, it is now in the NT!
